On May 31, 1559, Dona Isabella and a group of Protestant Christians were worshipping the Lord in a home. It was reported to the Holy Office and they were all arrested and arrayed before the dreaded Inquisition. Dona Isabella was the cousin of King Philip II. She was at least 7 months pregnant at the time. Not even her blood relationship with the emperor could save her. She was placed on the rack and tortured in order to get her to implicate others and deny her Faith in Christ. Dona Isabella remained steadfast to the end and refused to recant. As a result, she was burned alive at the stake. Dona Isabella and her unborn child both ascended to Heaven in the flames. |

St. Paul brought TRUE Christianity to Spain
The worldwide spread of true Christianity began when the Apostle Paul met the Risen Christ on the Damascus Road. At high noon, he experienced a tremendous vision from Heaven that knocked him to the ground:

it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto
Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light
round about me. And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest. And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. And I said, What shall I do, LORD? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do." (Acts 22: 6-10). |
The first place that St. Paul went after his conversation to Christ was to ARABIA:
"But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into ARABIA, and returned again unto Damascus" (Galatians 1:15-17).
St. Paul was an ARMY OF ONE as he preached the Gospel throughout the Roman Empire. His next major destination was Rome. After traveling all over the Roman Empire with the Good News that Jesus was Risen from the dead, he was arrested in Jerusalem and almost killed by the fanatical false religious leaders. Despite their murderous attempts on his life, the Lord promised him that he would testify of Him at Rome:
"And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at ROME" (Acts 23:11).
After establishing the true congregation at Rome, Paul was ordered to stand before Caesar (Nero). Nero acquitted him of any crime and set him free. It was then that Paul went to Spain and established true Christianity there. We have no record of Paul's supernatural ministry in Spain because ALL the history of the early Christians was destroyed in the last great pagan persecution of the congregation. The history in the Book of Acts ends with Paul a prisoner at Rome:
"Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company" (Romans 15:24).
"When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain" (Romans 15:28).
St. Paul did reach Spain and planted the good tree of TRUE Christianity there. Tradition says that he went as far west as Britain before his final arrest and death by beheading at Rome.
God knew that during the congregation age, Satan would concentrate all of his activity in the following areas, so Jesus sent His Apostle Paul to forestall Satan and set up the true congregation in these 3 places.
ARABIA ... ROME . . . SPAIN
As the Apostle to the Gentiles, and divinely guided by the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul made these 3 destinations the principal focus of his ministry.

The so-called conversion of Emperor Constantine was an exact COUNTERFEIT of the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. The vision actually happened at the same time of day: high noon:

Emperor Constantine was the first Pope and the founder of Roman Catholicism. Many of the barbarian tribes of northern Europe embraced this new religion with the familiar CROSS emblem. One of these tribes was called VISIGOTHS or West Goths. The Visigoths invaded and conquered Spain around 500 A.D.

A dynastic conflict prevented the succession of Witiza’s son, and Roderick, duke of Baetica, claimed the throne. In an effort to oust Roderick, Witiza’s family appealed to Muslims in North Africa for help. The Muslims quickly agreed. In 711, a Muslim army under the command of Berber general Tariq ibn-Ziyad crossed the Strait of Gibraltar and invaded Spain. After defeating Roderick’s army at the Battle of Guadalete in southern Spain, Muslim forces advanced swiftly into the rest of Spain. They never left until 1492!! |

More countries mean MORE WARS so the Vatican created the country of Portugal in 1139.
Beginning around 800 A.D., Vikings began attacking the coast of Spain. Out of this Viking enclave was created the country of Portugal with military help from Papal England.

John Nelson Darby is known as the father of FUTURISM or Dispensationalism.
Unlike Darwin, who convinced the world that the Genesis account of Creation happened in the distant PAST, Darby convinced the world that the Book of Revelation—the last book of the Bible— applied only to the distant FUTURE or the last 7 years before the end of the world.

Prior to Darby, all Protestant Christians believed that the Book of Revelation was a history of the Christian congregation from the first century to the end of time. They believed that the great falling away happened soon after the end of the apostolic age and that the Papal dynasty answered in every way to the great apostasy or falling away predicted by the Apostle Paul. They believed that the Pope was Antichrist and that the Papal dynasty was the Whore of Babylon vividly described in Revelation chapters 17 and 18. |
Since Antichrist would not be revealed until years in the future, the Christians were lulled into a deep sleep and stopped preaching like Saint Martin Luther and the early Reformers.
Jesus said that His followers were the SALT of the EARTH and the LIGHT of the world. Thanks to Darby, the salt has lost his savour and is good for nothing but to be trampled underfoot of the great Papal wild beast from hell. Here is an apt description of most of the Christian congregation today:
"His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber." (Isaiah 56:10).
And again:
"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue (spit) thee out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:16).
Like Darwin, Darby did a tremendous job for the Spanish Inquisition.
